Agata Siwek is a visual artist interested in almost everything. Her provocative and diverse artworks have one message: nothing is as it seems. Wim Moorman is a former footballer, historian, writer and a researcher of uncommon matters such as lost hubcaps, desire paths and unanswerable questions. Agata and Wim share a sharp eye and a strong social involvement, which manifests itself in the need to add something relevant and inspiring to the environment in which they live. Their latest project is a trip from Horst (hometown of Wim) to Krakow (hometown of Agata). Apart from the beginning and the end, nothing is certain in this journey. Agata and Wim are open to all kinds of encounters and sugestions that they hope to receive during the trip. They take their time to see, hear, smell and taste things, they register their observations and conclusions in theis sketchbooks and social media but most of all they enjoy their challenge.

Railways - Wernigerode

Als je met het Duitsland Ticket reist raak je net een tikkeltje meer geïnteresseerd in spoorwegen. Lopend door Wernigerode ontdekken we dat er een Wernigeröder Schlossbahn bestaat.

Während der Fahrt zum Schloss Wernigerode können Sie in Ruhe den Charme Wernigerodes genießen und werden durch unsere Fahrer über die Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie z.B. das Schloss, Rathaus, Harzer Schmalspurbahnen, Westerntorturm, Wildpark Christianental und weitere historische Gebäude informiert. 


Doen? 

Meestal is het mooier om trein te zien rijden dan zelf erin zitten maar we kunnen het proberen.


Lopend in de richting van het Schloss horen we gerinkel en onidinteficeerbare geluiden. Kan je ook met paard en wagen naar het kasteel? Vreemde geluiden… En dan, plotseling verschijnt er iets vanuit de bocht. Foto maken! Heb je jouw telefoon bij de hand? Snel!
